Dear Mothers-to-be

Please don't name your daughter Madison. They're going to wind up in school with 4 other Madisons in their class and they'll feel dumb. Furthermore, why do you find it such a compelling name? I don't get it. Maybe it's just me. But this is my blog. Got a problem? Leave a comment.

Yeah, I'm naming my daughter Milwaukee and my son Sheboygan just to avoid this issue...

And all this from a guy named JACKIE!? No, I do agree that parents these days seem to hone in on some trendy name and then 16% of their kids Kindergarden class will have the same name. I don't know very many Colins, but the name seems to be having a bit of a resurgency.

There are only 3 instances of my name I've found yet. I totally RULE and am certainly more unique than all of you. :)

It's my rant and I just don't find anything appealing about the name Madison. Now as for my name, I'm a junior. Leave it to the 'rents lack of creativity. I like the name Colin. I know only one.
