United We Fail

United Airlines will soon go out of business. I will dance on its grave. In the mean time I will do what I can to avoid that airline. If I do have to fly them again I will try to get the best deal possible so that they make the least amout of money possible.

Yes, I had another bad day flying. In part it was due to weather issues, but it became much more of a deal beyond the weather. When I complained each representative said "Well what would you like us to do about it?" So I tell them and NO ONE had power to do anything. Then they suggested contacting customer service. But they were closed by the time I was able to contact them. I got NOTHING but helpless assholes all day.

The bright spot: One leg of my trip got rebooked on Frontier Airlines. Very nice.
I'm hopefully optimistic about the trip home on Continental, but they irk me by having that stupid blue carpet at the gates that only "elite" club members may walk on. I laugh but then it still pisses me off.

You big old airlines are going DOWN and I will not cry.

Long live the cut rate airlines.
