Is it not clear that Kerry was trying to take a jab at the President and not at the troops? Either the Republicans are as dumb as they seem or are as dumb as you are.

Pundits and the press: get the story right. That's your job. Most of you are doing it poorly right now. You focus on the story and not on the subject. Are you as dumb as the Republicans or is your demographic merely dumb Republicans?

Is dumb too harsh? Well, that's the word my colleagues and I use to describe someone who is not particularly interested or curious about things they ought to be curious about and interested in, and really lack the desire to include all data or interpret it within a cogent framework.

Kerry, you tell a bad joke. But don't let up.

And Hillary... you know better. Don't tell the country you think shit sandwiches taste good. Your own credibility is at stake.
